It offers you a regular invitation to feel restored, calm and centred.  It's not only the nutrient content of tea that is good for you, the simple act of preparing and drinking good tea is a grounding experience. 

We believe investing in your wellbeing is not a luxury; it's smart and, these days, it's a necessity.

What you receive with your subscription

In the first week of every month, you’ll receive a box with two different specialty teas, (see below for this month's teas). Every tea is tasted and chosen by our founder, Certified Tea Master Anna Kydd.

If you’re a regular tea-drinker, drinking 1-2 cups a day, the quantity of tea (2 x 20g pouches) will last you around half the month (each pouch yields a minimum of 14 cups if you steep the same leaves twice). Your first box comes with our tea guide to help you steep and taste your teas. If you want to add teaware to your first box, see the bottom of the page for a discount offer.  

We focus on high-quality, small-batch teas. Each month, we choose one darker-style tea (dark, black or highly-oxidised oolong) and one lighter-style tea (lightly-oxidised oolong, green, yellow or white). So there should always be one tea that suits your taste buds, plus another to help you experience a new flavour. 

Who is the subscription for? 

If you consider yourself a 'foodie'; if you are curious and love trying new flavours or taking part in food and beverage tastings; and if you are interested in learning more about tea, then our tea subscription is perfect for you.

With specialty tea, the flavours you experience may be different to what you are used to. So, when you drink it, you will have a wonderful experience if you are curious and choose to adopt an adventurous palette. If you love the comfort of your tea tasting the same each time, your best option is to stick to your normal tea brand rather than join our subscription.  

Timing

Your first box is charged and delivered right away. All subsequent boxes are charged on the 1st of each month, then put on the courier the next working day.

Tea knowledge

We believe that knowledge is powerful; that discovering and learning about different types of tea will give you a more enriching experience. By purchasing the monthly subscription box you give us permission to add your email address to our mailing list, so Anna can send you information about your teas each month. Please let us know if you wish to opt-out.

Glenburn Summer Darjeeling
Black tea, India
Flavour: malt, rose, oak, walnut
This second flush, July 2024 harvest tea comes from Glenburn Tea Estate, Darjeeling, India. The leaves infuse into a gorgeous, rust-coloured liquor that releases a deep, wood and fruit aroma. When you sip, notes of malt, rose, oak and fresh, raw walnuts cascade over each other. This tea is lovely hot-steeped, or cold brewed in sparkling water.

High in the Himalayas, Glenburn Tea Estate is located above the Rungeet river, overlooked by the Kanchenjunga mountain range. It was started in 1859 by a Scottish tea company who then passed it on to one of India’s pioneering tea families, the Prakashes, who’s hands it remains in today.

Bagua Shan Siji Chun ~ light roast
Oolong tea, Taiwan
Flavour: sweet, creamy, sugary, floral - light & silky
These leaves come from the Siji Chun Wu Long tea plant cultivar. They were harvested on 27 March 2024 in Bagua Shan, Nantou County, Taiwan. Following oxidation, compression, rolling and curing, they are gently roasted at the end of processing. The result is a light and silky-soft infusion with moreish notes of sweetened cream, caramelised sugar and flowers.

The Wang Family has been involved in Taiwanese tea for many generations. The company is now run by brother and sister duo Joshua and Ivy Wang, who have a passion for sustainable and environmentally friendly practices and sharing the best tea that Taiwan has to offer.
