MOTHER'S DAY tea set
I'm a mother of two girls. And I love them to bits. But I also know how hectic and relentless motherhood can be. And, how hard it is to give yourself permission to say 'no' to doing more, and sit down on the sofa with a good cup of tea.
I've designed my Mother's Day tea set with this goal in mind. I use everything in the set on a daily basis to give myself a much needed break. I hope your mum enjoys this as much as I do.

The two teas* in the Mother's Day Tea Set are:
Himalayan Beauty
Oolong tea, Nepal
Flavour: floral, fruity, wood
This open-leaf, tippy oolong is a 2023 Spring harvest from the mountainous tea-growing district of Ilam in Nepal. Ilam sits at a similar altitude to the famous tea region, Darjeeling, just across the border in India. Himalayan Beauty is a blend of cultivars: 312, Goomtee and Tukda 178, which thrive in high altitudes conditions. After hand-harvesting, the leaves are withered, rolled, oxidised then dried.
Himalayan Beauty infuses into a beautifully balanced, delicate and fragrant tea with a smooth, creamy texture. Initial floral notes give way to fruity aromas - orange peel, apple skins and muscatel grape – which happily marry with its woody undertone.
Laoshan Imperial Black
Black tea, China
Flavour: malt, spice, sweetened cream, licorice
This 2025 Spring harvest, imperial grade tea is grown and crafted by the Liang family in Laoshan Village, Shandong, Eastern China. The tea plants are covered by shading cloths during winter, to protect from frost, and for the first part of spring; a process which intensifies the nutrient content inside the leaf and deepens the leaf colour. The shades are lifted to allow the plants to grow in full sun before harvest in late April/early May.
These beautifully shaped leaves infuse into a light-bodied, rich tea with notes of malt, dark chocolate, caramel and a hint of black licorice in the tail.
*if you would like different teas, add a note to your cart.
