MOTHER'S DAY AUCTION: WIN TEA SERVED BY ME AND MY DAUGHTERS
**THIS AUCTION HAS NOW CLOSED**
MOTHER'S DAY, SUNDAY 12 MAY 2024
My daughters, Vienna (10) and Lola (8), and I will come to your Mum's house on Mother's Day and serve her and the kids (young or old!) a tea-paired morning or afternoon tea.
There are few Certified Tea Masters in New Zealand, so having tea served by one on Mother's Day will be a rare treat for Mum.
We'll start with a cold brewed sparkling tea, then progressively serve three dishes, each matched with a different tea. And I'll share some interesting facts about tea along the way.
We'll also leave Mum with my Relaxation Box, which includes a tea glass infuser, teaspoon and two loose-leaf teas, valued at $79.95.
I support self-care, so if you are a mum who would love this for yourself, I fully endorse you taking part in the auction!
Ten percent of the winning bid will be donated to a charity of your choice.
Format:
- Given my well-behaved but vibrant children are involved, this will be a fun, relaxed, informal experience.
- We can cater for up to five people (including Mum). If the children are young, we can serve them caffeine-free herbal infusions.
- We'll come to your house, or a location of your choosing, in Auckland.
- I'll bring my kettle and teapots and you will set the table with teacups, side plates etc (I can help here if needed).
- The dishes will likely be a savoury bite (x2), finger sandwiches (x2) and a sweet treat for each person, from my local caterer Madame Jojo's and Farro. Dietary restrictions can easily be catered for.
- I estimate the morning/afternoon tea will take 1 - 1.5 hours with a little set-up and pack-down time before and after.
Finer details:
- The morning or afternoon tea must take place on Mother's Day, Sunday 12 May 2024.
- Auckland location only.
- The winner of the auction must make payment by Thursday 9 May 2024 - if not, it will be offered to the second highest bidder (and so on).
- The auction is not redeemable for cash.
- This campaign is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform.
