OOLONG TEA: Gaba oolong 2025, Taiwan
GABA Oolong
Oolong tea, Taiwan
Flavour: sweet potato, brown sugar, baked fruit ~ light bodied
Harvested in April 2025 these leaves were grown at an elevation of 1450m in ShanLin Xi, Nantou Country, Taiwan. They infuse into a sweet, comforting tea with notes of baked sweet potato, brown sugar and baked stone fruit.
GABA teas have a high concentration of gamma-aminobutyric acid which is said to help reduce anxiety and induce calm. This creates a baked sweet potato-like flavour, unique to GABA oolongs.

Preparation: Steep for 3 minutes at 90°. Two infusions.
Infusions: specialty tea leaves can all be steeped at least twice, and often more, so each 3 gram serve (150 mls - a standard teacup size), will give you two cups ('infusions') if you steep the leaves twice. On the back of your pouch under 'Steep', you can find the number of infusions for your tea.
