Gong Mei, 'Royal Tribute Eyebrow'
White tea, China

Flavour: soft & sweet, floral and citrus
Gong Mei, ‘Royal Tribute Eyebrow’, was made famous in the Qing dynasty in China, being served within the imperial court. It is made from the Cai Cha cultivar and is a two or three leaf and a bud pluck.

When infused, these leaves have a soft, sweet citrusy and biscuity fragrance with a supple body and notes of raw sugar, lavender and dried rose with a herbaceous finish. They were harvested on 28 March 2023 in Jing Ping Village, Zhenghe county.

This tea comes from Wuyi Origin tea company, led by Cindy Chen and her husband, Zhou Shiwu. Cindy and Zhou value quality tea craftsmanship and love sharing the experience of their region’s special teas.

Sizes: Gong Mei comes in four sizes: a 3 gram single serve, then 20g, 50g and 100g pouches. Our leaves can all be steeped at least twice (often more), so while the 3g pouch is a single serve (150 mls - a standard tea cup size), it will give you two cups if you steep the leaves twice
