Flavour: floral & sweet, light & delicate
From the soft, downy buds to the delicate, sweet infusion, this tea is a sensory treat. It is made up entirely of young leaf buds that are individually plucked by hand before they unfurl. They are then simply dried in the sun. When infused, they release a subtle and sweet lemony fragrance. The body is super soft, with notes of honey suckle and raw sugar. April 2025 harvest.  

Surrounded by conservation forest, Bukit Sari tea garden sits at an altitude of 1150 – 1350m in the remote highlands of West Java, Indonesia. The garden has been certified organic since 2007 and is committed to bio-diversity and sustainable farming. Its tea plants are replenished by natural mountain spring water and grown amongst companion plants of flowers and herbs which act as a natural bug repellent.  Certified organic by USDA.

Preparation: Steep for 3 minutes at 85°. Three infusions.
